Why Bolt.

  1. It keeps working.

Each controller holds its own rules. When the broadband goes down, the doors don’t.

    How
  2. One app for the building.

Doors, visitors, cameras and Spaces together. One login, one bill.

    See the app
  3. Low cost to run.

No server to buy or maintain. Priced per door, not per user.

    How pricing works
  4. British, and backed here.

Hosted in the UK, or on your own servers. Real people, Mon–Fri 8:30–17:30.

    Security
  1. Quick to fit.

Two doors per controller, up to eighteen on one cable. Commission with a claim code.

    The kit
  2. No call-backs.

Rules live on the controller, so an internet outage isn’t a 2 a.m. phone call.

    How
  3. Seven parts.

One stock list. Keep the readers on the wall with Bolt.W2O.

    Stock list
  4. It pays you again.

Licences renew on every site you fit. Free training, UK support.

The usual way, and the Bolt way.

  • The usual way A server in a cupboard to buy, patch and back up.

With Bolt No server. Controllers and a UK cloud, or your own servers if you prefer.

  • The usual way Internet down, and things start to wobble.

With Bolt Every controller keeps its own rules. Doors carry on; events catch up later.

  • The usual way Separate systems for doors, cameras and visitors.

With Bolt One app and one login for doors, visitors, cameras and Spaces.

  • The usual way Licences that grow with every user.

With Bolt Priced per door, camera and terabyte. Add people freely.

  • The usual way A cable run to every controller.

With Bolt One ethernet drop for up to nine controllers and eighteen doors.

The broadband goes down. The doors don’t. One cable. Eighteen doors. No 2 a.m. calls.

Watch it happen: a controller drops out and its neighbours route around it; the internet goes and every door carries on. One controller takes the ethernet, the rest join over the mesh. Lose a controller or the internet and the doors keep working.

Bolt controller overviewOne controller connects to the UK cloud over ethernet. Up to eight more join it over wireless mesh, up to three hops. If a controller drops out, the ones behind it find another route through their neighbours. If the broadband goes down, every controller keeps working and stores its events; when the line returns, the events catch up.Bolt cloud · UKC1ethernetC21 hopC31 hopC41 hopC52 hopsC62 hopsC72 hopsC82 hopsC93 hops
